Korathi(கொரத்தி(Tamil) in local language), also known as Korathi Gramam, is a village located in the Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu, India. It is one of the village panchayats in Cuddalore district. A notable landmark near Korathi is the ancient Jain monument, which reflects the area’s historical significance. Reason behind the Name : In earlier times this place was settle the grievances of various people, so it was known as “Kuraitheertha Gramam” and over time it became “Korathi Gramam”.
Where it located : It is situated approximately 32 kilometers northwest of the district headquarters, Cuddalore. Administratively, Korathi falls under the Panruti taluk and is about 13 kilometers from the taluk headquarters in Panruti.
